Parking in Harpers Ferry
Since we will arrive at the train station early, there should be plenty of parking there.
If you have an annual or senior pass from the National Parks Service, display it from your rearview mirror.
OR, you can purchase a three-day pass for Harpers Ferry, in advance, through this site: https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/2747
You can purchase it online, but you need to print it out to display on your vehicle. All the instructions are at the website.
OR, if there's no parking at the train station (which is very unlikely to be the case early on a Sunday morning), you can park on the street next to the station (controlled by the city) and pay with these instructions:

Metered street parking is available on Potomac St. in the Lower Town section adjacent to the National Park, as well as along Washington St. in the Upper Town Historic District. No cash is accepted in these meters. We recommend downloading the Parkmobile app {us.parkmobile.com/mobile-apps} to your cell phone in advance of your visit, as cell signal is spotty for some providers. All other streets are resident-only parking.
